Preparing Group Accounts (monthly, quarterly and Yearly) and answerable to the Managing Director.
Handling Tax matters and Tax planning
Handling Monthly, Quarterly and Yearly Management Accounts.
Preparation of Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss and Sales Forecast
Responsible for day to day inventories.
Imposing internal Control/Internal Audit.
Handling with Auditors (Internal and External) ensuring that auditor’s reports are timely available
Handling Investments & Evaluating investment opportunities
Strategic and & tactical planning
Budget Forecasts. Analyze the overheads in comparison with budget and highlight wherever actual expenditures have been exceeded with reason
Critical analysis on Monthly, Quarterly and Yearly managements accounts from revenue, claims and expenditure perspectives and provide meaningful information, highlighting the significant areas.
Review the balance sheet and the cash flow statements on monthly/Quarterly basis and to identify the significant movements of assets and liabilities
All analytical and reports for the top management required in a ad hoc manner and preparing budget and financial planning modules.
Should be able to liaise with banks and financial institutions on all Company matters with the bank.
Prepare and Submit to Banks reports and Company information on Quarterly basis.
Prepare and submit applications for yearly review of overdraft facilities.
Preparing Financials Project Evaluation for project finances from banks/financial institutions.
Will be responsible to supervise Asst accountant and junior accounts clerk
Monitor and ensure that stock taking is being done every Month, Quarterly and yearly.
Throughput of all raw materials to be prepared monthly, QUARTERLY and Yearly basis.
Take responsibilities of any duties of accounting that might be assigned to you from time to you by the Directors
Must be prepared to work odd hours to accomplish targets without claiming overtime
Normal working hours are as follows: Mondays to Saturdays 08:00 to 17:00 (lunch break is 1 hour 12:00 to 13:00 hours).
To avoid conflict of interest working with any other company or engaged in other business other than the work herein mentioned shall not be permitted
Should not disclose any confidential matters of the company to any one not related to the Company
The Employer or the Employee shall be required to give three months notice for termination of contract on either side
The candidate shall only terminate his services once a replacement is found in his position and has handed over his work to his replacement. This could at times also entail into maximum 5 months.
Annual paid leave will be given to the candidate including his immediate family members (Spouse and Children) of 28 days per annum.
He will be in-charge of accounts and answerable to all queries from the directors and he should give sensible suggestions and also if it means to re-organize the accounts personnel working under him.
The candidate should be willing to work under pressure and be in full control of the financial matters of our company.
REMUNERATION
• FREE ACCOMODATION including electricity and water.
• SALARY US$2,500.00 NETT
• FOOD ALLOWANCE OF US$200.00 WILL BE GIVEN IN EQUIVALENT OF LOCAL CURRENCY

• PROBATION PERIOD MINIMUM 3 MONTHS AND MAX 6 MONTHS
• ON RECRUITMENT COMPANY WILL PROVIDE TICKET TO MALAWI
• INDIAN SATELLITE TV SUBSCRIPTION WILL BE PROVIDED
