General Quality System Responsibilities: -Following all Governmental and Company rules and management directives, regulations and policies that relate to health, safety and the meeting of departmental missions and objectives. -Ensuring the requirements of the Company’s Quality System are complied with. -Actively participate in the implementation of the 8 Quality Management principles. -Assist with the continual improvement of the Quality System by implementing and participating in process improvement initiatives in relative areas. -Identifying and evaluating quality problems, suggesting solutions and recommending suitable corrective measures. BASIC FUNCTIONS -Provides works to carry out all Electrical Engineering work requirements for enhancement, upgrading and modifications of Site projects related engineering requests of the existing Hadeed structures facility following the Site Projects Section procedures. -Prepare engineering documents for submission and construction purposes. -Formulate detailed material take-offs for project procurement and bid proposal. -Ensure the execution of projects adhere to ISO quality requirements. -Review and approve documents by vendors and relevant third parties. -Head project meetings to collect and disseminate information pertaining to projects. -Technical specification review and resolution. -Coordinate the collection and dissemination of technical information between/within the company and customer. -Schedule and monitor program activity to achieve an “on-time” result including follow-up with external suppliers to ensure timely response to action items. -Monitor program cost activity to achieve an “in budget” result. -Prepare quotations utilizing supplier information, cost standards, technical information from quality, manufacturing engineering, design. -Involve in Create bill of material, detailed instructions for manufacturing process of new part, specification for packaging, external supplier specification to provide standard cost structure and instructions for manufacturing. -From customer drawings, determines possibility of failure in our manufacturing process. DUTIES PERFORMED -Ensure implementation and compliance of the Hadeed Safety Management Plan and Environment Management System standards at the section. -Performs design investigations, feasibility studies and engineering calculations of all Projects and related work requests. -Directs, plans, supervises and inspects all requests coming from his immediate superior or other department request, on verbal and written for non-scheduled activity or emergency job, related to the plant maintenance support services of the entire Hadeed Plant. -Conducts investigation and feasibility studies of existing and proposed facility for construction, and or modifications by adopting most efficient, practical and economical methods. -Prepare and submits investigation and technical reports to superintendent in writing on major Projects and related matters. -Supervises and manage contract and project, in accordance with the work requirements and Engineering standards of Hadeed. -Prepares scope of works, invitation to bid, and all other requirement of the work contract bid documents. Raises purchase requisitions or inquiries of services, and materials. -Ensure compliance with Hadeed industrial safety standards. -Ensure good housekeeping within his work areas. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS -Bachelor of Science in Electrical, or equivalent engineering course. -Minimum of Five years experience in similar job. -Proficiency in spoken and written communications with capability to review contracts and job scope etc. -Must be fully computer literate and be able to use SAP, MS Project and Office system, use of Office applications.
