 Job Description
Accountable for achieving allocated New Elevator Business (NEB) Sales Targets: • Schedule the various jobs and complete the installations as per the targets within estimated costs/agreed time schedules. • Supervise the various erection sites, monitor and follow-up on the installation process. • Implement the productivity norms for different installations. • Monitoring for safe custody of materials by the Sub-Contractor till the installation is complete and the Elevator is handed over. • Monitor the attendance of the installation teams at various sites. • Monitor the status of LUM sites. • Ensure the preliminary site preparatory work is carried out before the materials arrive at site. In this regard, co-ordinate and communicate with the customer regarding discrepancy/dispute. • Supervise the Sub-Contractors and monitor the progress at every site. • Prepare a monthly projection of jobs requiring lift inspector and V2 inspection. • Develop a good rapport with the customer and ensure payments are collected in time. Accountable for Safety in Sites under his Supervision • Responsible for Safety of KONE Personnel / Sub- Contractors at site. • Responsible for conducting tool box meetings and maintain records for the same. • Responsible for ensuring Safety requirements are followed at site as per Company Safety Management System Manual. • Reporting of Accidents / Incidents. • To do periodical audit and send reports to HO • To wear helmet when driving a two wheeler • To wear PPE’s as appropriate and enforce the same in the site. Accountable for Quality of Inspection • Responsible for Zero Defect Installation Stage-wise • Call for Stage Inspection in time and monitor NCR. • Ensure timely hand over of the lifts to Service Elevator Business (NEB - SEB inspection). • Correspond and interact with the customer on regular basis so that the installation is complete as per the customer’s requirement. Accountable for Customer Satisfaction • Attend Customer meetings periodically and explain our requirements clearly. • Attend site meetings regularly. Accountable for Administrative activities of the Department: • To monitor job files after taking over from Sales. • To handle site cash for day-to-day NEB operations. • To make Field Complaint reports • To ensure regular BMS entry • Evaluate the Sub-Contractors on a regular basis and develop them for a long-term association. • Organize regular meeting with Sub-Contractors and sort out any genuine problems. • Monitor Maintenance the following records and statements: - a. Customer Contact Document b. Site Readiness report c. DRO d. Despatch Schedule e. SEB Checklist f. Despatch documents (lorry receipts, DC, packing slip) g. Material Check Report (MCR) h. Missing Claim i. Warranty Claims j. Insurance Claim k. Erection Folder • State-wise inspection records • Responsible for certifying Sub-Contractor bills and ensure timely payments
