 Job Description
Execution of Business Plans: i. Meet daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly and annual sales goals as established by the department manager. ii. Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and to project the number of contacts to be made. iii. Follow up on new leads and referral resulting from field activity. iv. Maintain relationships with assigned account base while continually identifying and developing new accounts. v. Drive key initiatives in the area and execute business plans as laid down by FTL. vi. Identify opportunities and win over customers. vii. Speed to market in introducing and placing FTL products at the stores in the assigned area . viii. Achievement of distribution objectives – both horizontal (number of stores / geographies that FTL will be present in) as well as vertical (placement of FTL’s entire range at the stores). ix. Obtaining and maintaining optimum space allocation with good visibility and ensuring that visual merchandising standards are met. x. Ensure new products / styles are introduced in an appropriate and timely manner. xi. Identify and resolve client concerns. Delivery of customer satisfaction measures. xii. Ensure accounts receivables are within approved norms. xiii. Communicate new product offerings and special developments to customers and team members. xiv. Supervise the distributors’ field sales and collection personnel. xv. Ensure that the distributors’ service customer orders in a timely manner. Other Responsibilities: i. Prepare a variety of status reports, including activity, closings, follow -up, and adherence to goals. ii. Assist Regional Sales Manager in accurately forecasting of sales plans. iii. Keep Regional Sales Manager informed and up-to-date with market developments & competitor activities.   Business development with the customers. Customer / Distributor issues. Follow up on day to day activities. Category insights / competitor activities. Receiving and processing customer orders and following up on logistics. Availability Status of orders from customers. Follow up for sales orders; sell in of new items, promotional plans. Communication of all issues & opportunities. Inventory levels. Accounts Receivables. Sales order generation. Sell in of new items, promotional plans. Communication of all issues & opportunities. Space managements, displays and visual merchandising.
