Skillsets
? VENDOR MANAGEMENT ? Identifyiying the Sources for the new part development, like forgings, castings, steel profiles, special processes and parts machining.
? Carrying our vendor assessment, quality assessment, PPAP audit, witness PPAP, PPAP submissions anmd PSW sign off. Vendor rating comprising quality and delivery rating, periodic system audits, green channel and supplier qualifications.
? Addition and delition of vendors, maintain and manage the approved vendors and vendors under trial. ? NEW PART DEVELOPMENT ? Take part in the new product development team and periodically review the progress.
? Source selevection and new part development through PPAP route as per the time lines as decided by the team.
? Handover the development parts after the development.
? Develop, maintain information in parts development tracker and review periodically the development trackers. Monitor against the time and take suitable proactive actions.
