Desired Candidate Profile
• Min 5 years experience in sales positions in the Ports & Maritime market segment in India
• Independent person with excellent team working skills
• High level of professionalism and work ethics
• Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English
• Extensive travel in India a requirement in this position, and occasional travels abroad to our factories in Europe
• Should have proven track record of increasing company revenues in previous positions
• Experience in preparing Market & Business Plans a plus
Job Description
• Responsible for the sales of company and/or partner manufactured systems within Port & Maritime segments in India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh regions.
• Work closely with end users, consultants and contractors in order to create new business opportunities.
• Prepare and be responsible for fiscal budget and control costs for market segment.
• Develops annual business and marketing plan in conjunction with Managing Director, which details activities to follow during the fiscal year.
• Develops a database of projects and clients through referrals, travels, email, and networking.
• Responsible for sourcing and developing client relationships in existing markets.
• Responsible for identifying and building effective partnerships in regions where we are not present to maximize revenue.
• Follow up on competition systems and inform manufacturing companies of developments that could have impact on our market share or price levels.
• Participate and contribute to the development of educational programs offered to clients, prospects and company employees.
• Recommend management on resources for market segment to support sales.
• Maintain a high knowledge level of company or partner systems by planning relevant system training together with Managing Director.
