Contributes to the planning and executes trials, tests, measurement activities within projects and supports implementation in the business environment. •Responsible for shaping, defining strategy and agreeing cluster with portfolio of projects. •Early evaluation of technical feasibility (link with business case and technical capability). •Responsible for the technical output OTIF of large projects across agreed regions. •Responsible for specification of formulation, process, pack and Quality •Assurance regimes to support / enforce these specs (and technical action standards i.e. product performance standards). •Responsible for risk management, claims and legal compliance with local & regional requirements. •Responsible for intellectual property protection and patent, regulatory and SEAC clearance. i.e. they will actively work with other team members and with the patent attorney to develop patents to protect any new discoveries made by project team. •Responsible for managing relationships with, & OTIF output of suppliers/partners. •Responsible for coaching, supporting, developing team members. •Responsible for stakeholder management regarding technical issues/status. •Responsible for incorporating previous learning at project inception, and for the capture, documentation & transfer of learnings at completion i.e. Post Launch Review. •Responsible for input technical details to Gate documents. •Responsible for ensuring comprehensive technical transfer documentation is written when handing over from CTC to RTC to Sourcing Units (i.e. factories) •Responsible for ensuring handover of specifications & practical “know-how” to regions and to supply chain. •Responsible for managing the project bought in (for example external consumer tests, outsourced R&D) cost budget for R&D.
