Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) :
• Ensure timely development of new reliable products as per desired specification and customer expectations.
• Conducts market research and develops alternate vendors to support strategic sales plan.
• To develop cost effective products to meet customer requirements.
• Timely planning and procurement of finish goods and spare parts to support sales plan.
• To maintain adequate inventory levels to fulfill customer requirements in various sales branches/countries Experience/Qualifications :
• Graduate in Electronics / BE in Electronics
• A Post Graduate qualification in materials management is preferable.
• At least 15-20 years experience in Purchase and distribution, out of which minimum 5 years should be in a similar position.
• Must have a good understanding of the business environment and opportunities in the Middle East and Africa / GCC.
• Industry knowledge of Consumer Electronics /Satellite is must. Industry Preference :Candidates who have worked previously in Consumer Electronics companies like Videocon, Samsung, Onida, LG, Philips, Panasonic etc & Satellite or DTH products companies like Tata Sky, Reliance Big TV, Dish TV, Bharati Airtel, Essel Shyam etc.... Note : Candidates who have passport & updated relevant resume can forward us for further proceedings.

Job Description |
|
Purpose of the Job (Overall accountability) :
Overseas/local Sourcing and Supply Chain activity for Consumer Electronics and Satellite Business.
Principal accountabilities :
Procurement:
Set and meet targets for material in line with strategic business plan.
Vendor Development:
Visit all possible Eurostar sales locations and markets and gather market information to develop value added products to meet customer requirement.
Cost Reduction:
Develop cost effective and quality vendors to meet customer demands.
Planning:
Develop and implement effective systems and procedures in line with international standards, to increase the overall efficiency of the system.
Inventory Control:
To monitor adequate inventory levels as per budget and set targets.
External Relations:
To establish and maintain healthy relationship with the supplier at appropriate level (senior level) to get maximum benefits in terms of Delivery, price and related areas. Internal Relations:
To keep close coordination with Eurostar sales team and and other supporting departments. To keep close watch on market fluctuation in terms of product prices, quality, aesthetics and other commercial issues.
Documentation:
To educate / update the team on various regulations documentation and certifications required for customs or other authorities in respective countries.
Market Information:
To keep updated information on market trends, price fluctuations due to other commodities like Metal prices, Currency fluctuations and other raw material /commodities.
Feedback:
To provides timely feedback to top management regarding market fluctuations and related issues.
Accounting:
Keeps keep track of incoming and out going funds in co-ordination with accounts team.
Warehousing and Logistics support :
Lead / support warehousing and Logistics functions to maintain cost effective/ timely deliveries and efficient storage and handling.
