Master schedule shall contain all critical milestones Regularly co-ordinates and acquires information with/from: Prepare WBS for Master Schedules Team members over progress/status of approvals and permitting, design, third party consultants, commissioning and validation personnel, procurement, progress in the field, weather conditions and H+S performance Update Master Schedule weekly in coordination with EPC’s schedule Review and recommend consent (consent by the GM-construction) to the Contractor’s Construction Program. This consented to Program, including critical milestone dates, will be the basis upon which, if delays occur, liquidated damages and/or penalties will be assessed. Monitors and checks resourcing – planned, actual and forecast and reports progress. Provides feed-back on productivity. Advices on schedule implications for change order requests Provides schedule advice on delay mitigation options Provides schedule advice on safety driven working constraints Provides schedule impact on agreed value engineering Provide advice on Extension of time requests Provide advice on the workability of EPC schedule and suggest alternatives. Review and ultimately approve the Contractor’s Procurement Schedule. Produce S curves for manpower and resources from Primavera P6 Validate that all shop drawings dates, fabrication dates, shipping and delivery dates are in agreement with the Construction Program dates for the activity. Obtain from Contractor a list of all of the sub-contractors, material and equipment suppliers. Monitor the Contractor’s submittal program to prevent delays to the Work. Prepare and maintain a Submittal Log. Monitor the progress of the Work against the approved Construction Program. Report compliance with or deviations from the Program noting actions or decisions to be taken in order to prevent or reduce potential delays of the Work. Review and monitor the Contractors material / equipment order and delivery schedule. Issue Critical Action reports noting actions or decisions to be taken in order to prevent or reduce potential delays to the Work. Monitor, supervise, and support the Engineer with responses to all Contractor made claims. Monitor any claims made by sub-contractors or suppliers against the Contractor provided these claims are made known in writing to the Consultant by Contractor or by Client. Issue Critical Action reports noting any actual or potential impact of these sub-claims to the Works. Make recommendations as to claims validity and proposed solutions. Assist the Engineer with advise on delay mitigation. Monitor the Contractor crew sizes for each trade. Advise the Engineer and Contractor if the job is being properly manned for the completion of the tasks within the requirements of the Construction Program. Monitor that material on hand and equipment is sufficient for the completion of the upcoming scheduled work. Obtain and support the Engineer with his review of any claims by Contractor. Provide recommendations on the resolution of all Contractors’ claims. Prepare a Final Claims Report for approval by both Client and Contractor.
