Performance Management Setting the KRAs to ensure a robust performance appraisal process Driving Performance Management Process / Appraisal cycles To communicate the process, driving the review cycles Mid-Term / Confirmation Appraisal, and ensuring compliance, timely completion and documentation of the entire process Compilation of appraisal ratings and synchronization of appraisal with compensation rewards Promotions based on potential of the candidates Involved in moderation exercise, promotions, and salary corrections and re designation decisions Implementation of Balanced Score Card for Leadership team of the organization Appraisal Cycle management - Drive timely Appraisal completion across units, system development and new enhancements, drive organization wide normalization Drive standardization of PMS practices across Units / Geographies Program management of the Promotion & Progression process for the organization Implementation of the Competency Based Interviewing practice for the internal Promotion panels Manpower modelling based on business projections and location / unit wise requirements Mapping Competency of individual employees based on their present and desired skills. Successfully implemented Strategic PMS and executed multiple appraisal cycles using modern appraisal techniques like MBO and 360 degree process To Execute other PMS activities in the organization, including Competency Mapping, Probation reviews, managing poor performance through the medium of Corrective Action Plan (CAP) / Performance Improvement plan (PIP), appraisal & post appraisal activities like Bell Curving, Normalization / Moderation, Promotions, Compensation and benefits, Salary fitments, R&R etc. Performance Appraisal To review the performance of the employees over a given period of time. To judge the gap between the actual & the desired performance. To help the management in exercising organizational control. Helps to strengthen the relationship & communication between superior – subordinates & management – employees. To diagnose the strengths & weaknesses of the individuals so as to identify the training & development needs of the future. To provide feedback to the employees regarding their past performance. Provide information to assist in the other personal decisions in the organization. Provide clarity of the expectations & responsibilities of the functions to be performed by the employees. To judge the effectiveness of the other human resource functions of the organization To reduce the grievances of the employees. Recruitment In-depth knowledge Engineering /manufacturing industry Handling entire Recruitment cycle : Design, develop & propose effective recruitment strategies & processes for effective & timely staffing. PAN India Technical Recruitment , Understanding requirements; Preparation of job specifications Preparation of recruitment plan, Job Analysis, Evaluation & Grading, Benchmarking, market trends for structures & values of compensation & benefits. Sourcing of candidates, screening, short-listing of applications, Networking, Employee referrals, Selection, Negotiation, Offer Roll out, Ensuring Timely joining. Maintain Recruitment Metrics / MIS & ensure regular updating to management. Respond to enquiries from candidates, managers & external Recruitment agencies about the organisation\'s Recruitment activities & about the status of job vacancies. Facilitate the salary negotiation for all categories of new employee Prepare the salary proposal & offer appointment letters. Closely work as per priority & achieving Recruitment targets Should be able to define self & team’s target Enthusiast to close positions Technical Training & Development, Conduct orientation sessions & arrange on-the-job training for new hires. Evaluate instructor performance & the effectiveness of training programs, providing recommendations for improvement. Develop testing & evaluation procedures. Conduct or arrange for ongoing technical training & personal development for staff members. Confer with management & conduct surveys to identify training needs based on projected production processes, changes & other factors. Develop & organize training manuals, multimedia visual aids, & other educational materials. Plan, develop, & provide training & staff development programs, using knowledge of the effectiveness of methods such as training, demonstrations, on-the-job training, meetings, conferences, & workshops. Analyze training needs to develop new training programs or modify & improve existing programs. Review & evaluate training & apprenticeship programs for compliance with government standards. Train instructors & supervisors in techniques & skills for training & dealing with employees. Coordinate established courses with technical & professional courses provided by community schools & designate training procedures. Prepare training budget for department or organization Candidates should have Excellent interpersonal, communication, management skills with demonstrated abilities in driving motivated teams in achieving organizational goals. Job involves PAN India Travel & frequent visits to multiple Factories & offices
