Key Responsibilities: • Responsible for design, development, project feasibility for a new mid size water soluble fertiliser plant. Role involves project management, planning etc.
• During the Project and Conceptual Stage/Erection and commissioning:
• Installing and commisiioning as well as conducting tests and inspections to ensure operational effectiveness of plant and utilities.
• Designing plant layout and carrying out inspection tests for determining effectiveness of the plant.
• Conducting regular tests to ensure the performance capacity of various equipments and machineries. Production planning and control. • Managing overall operations with a view to ensure timely accomplishments of production targets within the time and cost parameters for monitor and control.
• You will be involved in both pre production (planning) stage as well as the testing,commissioning, production (control and supervision) stage.
• Planning, coordination and control of manufacturing processes once equipment is installed and commissioned.
• Managing inventory and controlling the cost. Project Management: • Project planning and activity sequencing, tracking and development of contingency plans to meet cost and time over-runs.
• Implement company’s policies and goals related to QA/QC , HSE, Quality control, Plant Logistics, maintenance and engineering including expense budget.
• Ensure that safety guidelines are followed.
• Select,train,supervise and motivate a team of workers. Process Improvement: Planning,implementing and monitoring of technological changes to enhance productivity. Modifications in equipments, consumables, power etc foir controlling and reducing conversion cost. Plant Operations and Production Management:
• Oversee the production, draw up a production schedule.
• Make sure the products are produced on time and are of good quality.
• Analyze and recommend product improvement, while ensuring a cost effective operating methodology.
