PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:- Financial:-
1.Contribute to the planning process for Nashik unit by giving inputs on HR, IR and safety, admin etc. related costs and ensure adherence to the assigned budget 2.Ensure adherence to the manpower plan for unit by all departments to drive saving in manpower costs by redeploying excess manpower and enhancing operational efficiency 3.Anchor cost minimization initiatives through effective negotiations with recruitment consultants, training agencies, and other external agencies Process :- 1.Develop and maintain sound relationships with local educational institutions to become a preferred employer at campuses and ensure hiring of top talent 2.Ensure implementation of recruitment system at Nashik unit in collaboration with the relevant HODs based on the profile specifications provided by them (excluding levels above GM and Management Trainees) for workmen and management staff 3.Ensure implementation of training and development system at Nashik unit (for levels below GM) to ensure development of employees in alignment with the requirements of the unit. 4.Support implementation of Performance Management System at Nashik unit to facilitate objective definition and measurement of employees’ performance. 5.Drive the implementation of consistent human resource management policies at Nashik unit. 6.Ensure adherence to Labour Laws, statutory regulations and Court orders and judgments with respect to permanent and contractual labor and liaise with Government agencies for associated inspections at the unit 7.Support initiatives led by Corporate Office and introduce unit level initiatives to enhance the motivation and employee satisfaction levels at Nashik unit. 8.Support Corporate HR in collating MIS by providing data related to training, accidents, attrition, separations, etc. for analysis and provide information to the top management regarding the same. 9.Support the implementation of SAP-HR module at Nashik unit to ensure success of the initiative and coordinate implementation in all units. 10.Anchor the implementation of employee grievance redressal system at Nashik unit to capture all employee issues and grievances relating to performance management, compensation, transfers, training and process compliance. 11.Monitor and facilitate housekeeping function at Nashik unit to ensure hygiene. 12.Oversee coordination of TPM and six sigma activities to enhance process capability. 13.Ensure a safe working environment in line with recognized industry protocols and statutory compliances by implementing measures and enhancing safety awareness. 14.Negotiate with trade unions on collective bargaining agreements and on issues relating to pay and working conditions Customer:-
1.Maintain contact with union leaders and key workmen, take feedback of workmen on policies and negotiate with the union for periodic agreements in order to ensure congenial industrial and relations. 2.Ensure internal customer satisfaction by adhering to preset lead times, talent quality and budgets for recruitment. 3.Coordinate with Commercial department for wage and salary administration to ensure timely payment of the same to employees and workers People:- 1.Participate in the various stages of Performance Management System to align own and subordinates\' performance to the overall goals of organisation. 2.Provide subordinates with the required growth opportunities to ensure their development for higher-level roles. 3.Coordinate with Training function to ensure own and subordinates’ capability development in alignment with the requirements of the Company.
