Senior Engineer - CFD Analysis-50444724 Description This position performs basic analysis work as follows: * Perform Computational Fluid Dynamic (CFD) analysis of C&F Division * Performance evaluation of components, sub-systems, and systems associated with Heat Transfer and Fluid Dynamics. * Learns, understands and applies company engineering standards and processes. * Analyzes assignments and determines engineering specifications which must be fulfilled for routine problems or projects. * Planning & execution of CFD projects, for product verification and validation. * Interaction with Harvester units design and CFD engineers. * Providing design recommendations to design engineers to enhance the product performance. * Use the process enhancing tools like six-sigma Qualifications * 2-4 years of experience in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) analysis. * Strong in basics of Thermal, Heat Transfer and Fluid Dynamics concepts. * Hands on experience in any CFD Analysis tools like Fluent (CFD code) /Star-CD /Star-CCM+ / AVL. * Good experience in meshing tools like T-Grid /Gambit/ICEM-CFD / Star-CCM+ (Meshing). * Knowledge in CFD simulations techniques. * Able interpret the simulation results, and correlate with test data & theoretical concepts. * Independent CFD simulation support and providing guidance to designers. * Must be a team player and able to work independently. * Domain knowledge in automotive is desired. * Working knowledge of automotive components, subsystems and systems is desired. * Knowledge of Pro-E sold modeling and PLM/PDM is an added advantage. * Knowledge of programming using C and scripts like Python, Perl etc. * Mechanical Engineer with Masters (M.Tech/M.E/MS) in Thermal / Heat Transfer / Applied Mechanics * Engineering from reputed University /College/Institute, preferred from IITs/IISc/NITs
