Job Description |
|
Job Descritption Installation and configuration of z/OS operation system and its various components
Installation and configuration of IBM program products
Installation and configuration of large number of ISV products including CA, Compuware, Beta, Mobius, Syncsort, …
Ability to make I/O Configuration change
Use of IBM\'s utilities and ISV utilities for maintaining the mainframe environment
Ability to tune z/OS, IBM and ISV program products in a large mainframe installations.
Coordinate and communicate configuration tasks with other technical support specialists
Ability to code/modified MVS user Mods and exits
Strong debugging skills with familiarity to read dumps
Interface with vendors to obtain new product releases and maintenance
Upgrade z/OS and Program Products to current release levels using Standard Operating Environment processes
Apply maintenance to Program Products as required
Act as a Subject Matter Expert for products where individual\'s expertise is strong
Weekly rotational on-call support with ability to support IBM and ISV products in a large Mainframe shop
