Compensation and Benefits (Expert) Recruitment
? Develop procedures to determine and benchmark required staffing levels in consultation with department heads
? Taking account of technological advances, and recommending ways of applying these to improve the total cost of employee acquisition
? In conjunction with Team Leaders and Department Heads, analyze and identify skills gaps and make recommendations as to whether these should be filled by development and training of existing staff/partners or by strategic and targeted recruitment
? Be responsible for the recruitment of all staff, including:-
The design and implementation of a structured and sophisticated Recruitment Process designed to ensure effective recruitment of high quality recruits, and to minimize recruitment errors and wastage
• Issuing of appropriate correspondence and Terms and Conditions of Employment
? Assisting in the lateral recruitment
? Ensure induction program for new staff at every level Performance Appraisal Reviews
? Set the parameters for the appraisal scheme to operate effectively and communicate it clearly to all members of the organization
?Train supervisors and team leader on how to conduct effective appraisals
?Oversee, develop, co-ordinate the logistics of the Appraisal Process
? Take subsequent action resulting from appraisal interviews
? Regularly evaluate the appraisal system and develop it and the Firm’s competency framework as deemed necessary
? Be responsible for conducting appraisal interviews in respect of all Personnel Department staff
? Be responsible for all follow-up interviews following on from appraisals and offer the appropriate guidance, advice and training Performance Management
? Be responsible for administering and/or giving guidance to staff in respect of the organization’s counseling, grievance and disciplinary procedures
? Maintain and monitor the database and keep proper records of staff sickness, holidays and absences
? Advise on issues of underperformance of staff at all levels
? Be responsible for the co-ordination and implementation of termination procedures, and the taking of exit interviews
? Ensure that all procedures in respect of grievance and discipline are followed in the correct fashion Performance Appraisal Reviews

? Regularly prepare budgets relating to the Human Resource function and, in conjunction with the Head of Finance, present these for approval
? Regularly monitor expenditure and take the appropriate action to ensure that budgets are not exceeded
? Meet with the C.E.O. and/or the Head of Finance on a monthly basis to update on expenditure
